Sources, disclosure and editorial policy

Financial ties

I am a paid consultant and speaker for Medtronic and Boston Scientific, companies that make spinal cord stimulators. I receive fees for consulting, teaching and lectures.

No company sponsors, reviews or approves this channel or this site. I say this at the start of every video and in every description.

How sources are chosen

• Every study cited is checked against PubMed, with its PMID and DOI linked.
• Numbers are quoted as the paper reports them, with the comparison group.
• Data from my own clinic are labelled as real-world data, not a trial.
• I name the limits and risks of each option, including the ones I perform.

Patients

Patient stories are de-identified. Ages, dates and details that could identify someone are changed or left out.

What this is not

This is general education, not medical advice. I am licensed in Japan, and treatment options, approval and insurance differ by country. Please make decisions about your care with your own doctor.
